The Artist Grant & Growth Initiative is designed to support visual artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. This initiative provides more than just funding—it offers a comprehensive ecosystem of growth, visibility, and opportunity for artists at all stages of their careers.

We believe that by nurturing creative potential and amplifying underrepresented voices, we can contribute to a more inclusive and inspiring global art landscape.

The Artist Grant & Growth Initiative provides a comprehensive support system that empowers artists through funding, mentorship, training, and visibility—nurturing professional growth and contributing to a more connected global art ecosystem.

Funding Support

• Grants typically range from $1,000– $3,000 USD
   
• Grant amounts vary depending on project scope, project cost (with reference to UN CPI and RPI indices), and available funding
   

Visibility & Outreach

• Social Media Features – Get promoted on Art² Foundation’s Instagram and TikTok with artist quotes, behind-the-scenes content, and short-form videos.
   
• Newsletter Spotlights – Reach global audience through dedicated artist features and project announcements.
   
• Online Showcases – Be considered for curated digital exhibitions and share your work through virtual talks.

Learning & Development

• Access to exclusive workshops, talks, and resources
   
• Optional mentorship opportunities with experienced artists and curators
   

Exhibition Possibilities

• Selected projects may be considered for inclusion in curated online or in-person exhibitions organized by Art² Foundation or partner institutions
   

The Artist Grant & Growth Initiative is open to visual artists working in any medium and based anywhere in the world. We strongly encourage applications from individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. Applicants should have a demonstrated artistic practice or a compelling emerging vision.

Please note that, in compliance with U.S. regulations, grants cannot be awarded to individuals or entities located in countries subject to U.S. sanctions (as defined by the U.S. Department of the Treasury/OFAC).

We accept applications on a rolling basis. You can apply at any time. The selection committee will review the application quarterly based on the selection criteria below.

Selection Criteria:

• Artistic Excellence & Innovation – The originality, quality, and creative approach of the artist’s work.
• Project Proposal & Feasibility – A clear, well-structured proposal with a realistic timeline and execution plan.
• Impact & Relevance – The potential influence of the project on the artist’s career, community, or the art world.
• Alignment with Grant’s Mission – How well the project reflects the values and objectives of the grant.

All applications will be reviewed by the selection committee within 4–6 weeks of submission. Applicants will be notified if they are shortlisted. Final grant decisions are based on funding availability and are typically made within 8–12 weeks after shortlisting.

Each grant supports projects over a period of up to 12 months, allowing artists the time and space to fully realize their vision.
